Collector's Edition Key Facts
Rockstar opened pre-orders for the box on September 24, 2026 through the Rockstar Store, where you must be logged in to buy. The official Grand Theft Auto VI site lists it as "The Vice City Collection" collector's box.
It weighs about 11 kg (24 lbs) and is limited to one per person. There is no disc slot and no download code inside.
- Name: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection
- Price: $399.99
- Ships: November 19, 2026
- Limit: one per person
- Game included: no
What's in the Box
The box contains 11 items themed around Vice City and Leonida, packed in a black case. Beebom lists the full contents:
- 6" Macca the Gator figure with a stash compartment
- Matte black GTAVI Oakley Frogskins sunglasses with Prizm Sapphire lenses
- New Era 9FORTY A-Frame snapback with Vice City Leonida details
- Macca the Gator magnetic mirror
- Vice City swizzle spoon
- Vice City razor blade keychain
- Leonida Keys crossbody bag
- Chunkee the Manatee shot glass
- Leonida Keys enamel pin set in a metal tin
- Premium stickers in a stash bag
- Double-sided souvenir poster with the Leonida map (36 x 26 in)
The Game Is Not Included
This is the biggest catch. The Collector's Edition is merchandise only, with no disc and no digital code. You need to buy the $79.99 Standard Edition or the $99.99 Ultimate Edition separately.
That brings the total to between $479.98 and $499.98 for the box plus a copy of the game. Many players criticized the decision, especially since the game itself also has no disc.
Where and How to Buy
The Collector's Edition is sold through the Rockstar Store, and Beebom notes it should also reach select retailers. At launch it ships to the US, UK, Canada and most of Europe, including Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, the Nordic countries, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland.
Rockstar's FAQ says Asia, Latin America, Australia and New Zealand will get it later. Check the store page for your region before ordering.
Beware of Scalpers
Resale listings have appeared at $750 to more than $1,500, even while the box was still in stock on the Rockstar Store. MP1st reported scalpers charging up to $1,500.
Buy directly from Rockstar or an authorized retailer, and remember the one-per-person limit applies to the official store.
Collector's Edition vs Ultimate Edition
The Ultimate Edition is a version of the game that adds in-game vehicles, weapons and shops for $99.99. The Collector's Edition is physical merchandise and adds nothing in-game.
If you want in-game extras, the Ultimate Edition is the one to buy. If you collect memorabilia, the Vice City Collection sits on top of whichever edition you choose. Compare prices on our GTA 6 price page.
Macca the Gator and Leonida Theming
Several items feature Macca the Gator, a mascot that also appears in the Ultimate Edition's Goodtime Gear apparel. The box includes a 6-inch Macca figure with a stash compartment and a Macca magnetic mirror.
Other pieces reference real places in the game, such as the Leonida Keys crossbody bag and enamel pins. The double-sided Leonida map poster is the closest thing to an official printed map.
Shipping Regions
At launch, the box ships to these countries, according to Beebom:
- United States, Canada and the United Kingdom
- Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy
- Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal
- Spain, Sweden and Switzerland
Is the Collector's Edition Worth It?
It depends on what you want. If you collect memorabilia, it is an official Rockstar box with Oakley and New Era items. If you want more to do in the game, it adds nothing.
At $399.99 plus the game itself, it is the most expensive way to get GTA 6. Compare all options on our price page.
