Lucia's Official Rockstar Bio
Rockstar's profile opens with "Lucia's father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk." Her bio says she ended up in Leonida Penitentiary for "fighting for her family," and that she got out through "sheer luck." Rockstar has not named the crime.
She is described as "committed to her plan — no matter what it takes" and "prepared to take matters into her own hands." The one line that ties her to Jason reads: "A life with Jason could be her way out."
Family and Liberty City Roots
Rockstar links Lucia's family to Liberty City through her mother, who has long dreamed of "the good life" since their days there. Her father appears only as the person who trained her to fight, and Rockstar has not named him.
No other family members have been confirmed. The connection to Liberty City, the setting of GTA 4, is one of the few links to earlier games in her story.
Lucia in the Trailers
Trailer 1 introduces Lucia in a prison interview, and Trailer 2, released May 6, 2025, opens with her release. Rockstar's story summary says Jason and Lucia "have always known the deck is stacked against them."
Her first gameplay appeared in Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look, about 27 minutes of PS5 footage that premiered on Netflix on August 27, 2026. The Launch Trailer on October 15, 2026 opens with a prison call: "This is a free call from Lucia Caminos." See all videos on our trailer page.
Lucia and Jason's Story
The story begins when "an easy score goes wrong," leaving the pair "on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida." They are "forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive."
Lucia appears alongside Jason in the robberies shown in the trailers. Read Jason Duval's profile for his side of the story.
