Exclusive Vehicles
Four vehicles are tied to the Ultimate Edition: the '95 Grotti Cheetah coupe, the Dinka Enduro dirt bike, the Vapid Dominator Buggy and the Shitzu Squalo motorboat. Push Square's vehicle list marks all four as exclusives.

Exclusive Shops and Activities
The Ultimate Edition is more than a cosmetic pack. Rideout Customs, One-Eyed Willie's, Sara's Unisex Salon, Stock 305, Electric Fang Tattoo and the PTT Youngin$ store are businesses Rockstar says are "only open for business with the Ultimate Edition."
That is why Tom's Guide called it "the real full game" and OpenCritic criticized how much is locked behind it. Still, the main story, missions and map are identical in both editions.
Price and Upgrade Options
The Ultimate Edition costs $99.99 (AU$159.95), compared with $79.99 for Standard. It is available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, digitally and as a physical code in a box.
Standard owners can buy an upgrade later to get the Ultimate content. On PlayStation, upgrades do not qualify for the free GTA+ month, which applies only to full Standard or Ultimate purchases made by November 19, 2026.
Pre-Order Bonus Is the Same for Both
The Vintage Vice City Pack is not exclusive to Ultimate. Anyone who buys either edition before November 20, 2026 receives it.
The Collector's Edition is also separate. It is a $399.99 merchandise box with no game included. Our price page compares all three.
Is the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition Worth It?
If you plan to spend a long time in Leonida, the extra shops, mod garages and vehicles add variety for $20. If you mainly want the story, the Standard Edition contains every mission.

Several items are tied to Jason's side of the story. He gets an engraved Girardi ES9 pistol, safehouse vehicles (a Dinka Enduro motorcycle and a Crest Kayak), and the Ganado Retro Build modkit for his Vapid Ganado.

Lucia gets an engraved Klose K17 pistol. Both protagonists receive the Vice City Style collection of outfits and tattoos, and Sara's Unisex Salon offers new hair, facial hair, makeup and nails.

The two are easy to confuse. The Ultimate Edition is a version of the game for $99.99 with in-game extras. The Collector's Edition is a $399.99 box of physical merchandise with no game.
